Trugard Epoxy Coating
Trugard is new fusion bonded epoxy that has been designed to withstand impact and abrasion. While developed predominantly as a protective barrier for pipe, we have found that Trugard has been exceptional in a number of areas. It is applied as a thick mil coating and is the workhorse of epoxy coatings. Areas that are subjugated to adverse temperatures, pressure and are in contact with corrosive oils, gases and waters should use this coating.
Typical advantages to Trugard
- Trugard is a dry powdered coating process that will enhance the durability and longevity of normal steel parts.
- Produces smooth, even 10-14 mils of protective coating to all areas of metal parts where there are no tolerance restrictions.
- Trugard provides resistance to hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbon dioxide (CO2), oxygen, salt water and stimulation acids.
- Medium to low temperature protection (200° - 230°F )
- Reduces Total Cost of ownership.
- Extremely hard and abrasive resistant.
