PolyEXT Internal Tubing Lining
Precision Coatings POLYEX-17 is a high density polyethylene HDPE liner that is intruded into both injection and production tubing. This highly corrosive and abrasive material has a proven track record in the oil and gas industry, and Precision Coatings has added this facility to its already extensive coating operations. Historically, HDPE has improved rod wear, as well as reduce wireline, handling and mechanical damage. The materials inertness has made it a formidable barrier that fights against corrosive elements created by H2S and high chlorides, as well as the fact that because it is a seamless layer, there are no holidays that are common in fusion bonded coatings.
